Our Comprehensive Mold Inspection Services

Elite Mold Inspections offers a comprehensive suite of mold assessment and indoor air quality testing services designed to identify, assess, and confirm mold issues in your local home or building. Our thorough approach ensures no stone is left unturned.

Visual Inspection

Our assessment starts with a careful visual assessment of your home or building. Our certified inspectors will look for obvious indicators of mold, moisture damage, discoloration, and conditions conducive to mold, such as leaks or elevated humidity. This initial step helps us pinpoint areas of concern and guides our sampling strategy.

Air Sampling

Air sampling is crucial for evaluating airborne mold spore concentrations. We collect air samples from different areas within your home and an outdoor control sample. These samples are then analyzed by a professional lab to measure the species and concentration of mold spores, so we can assess the indoor air quality and potential hidden mold sources.

Surface Sampling

If mold is suspected or present, surface samples (swabs, tape lifts) are gathered directly from the problem spots. This method enables accurate identification of mold species and verifies ongoing mold presence on specific surfaces.

Bulk Sampling

In cases where material integrity is in question, or more thorough testing is necessary, bulk samples (sections of affected material) may be gathered. These samples provide a definitive identification of mold types and can establish colonization within building materials.

Humidity and Moisture Mapping

High humidity and moisture are major causes of mold growth. Our certified inspectors use specialized equipment like humidity meters and infrared cameras to detect moisture problems behind walls, under floors, and in ceilings. Finding hidden moisture is critical for preventing future mold re-growth.

Lab Analysis

All collected samples are sent to an independent, accredited laboratory for analysis. The lab quantifies and analyzes the mold spores and types present. We get in-depth reports that provide the basis for our comprehensive inspection findings and recommendations.
